Thanks for the suggestions! These sound great -- I was definitely planning on having some drabble contests this game. Making them based around characters / games seems like an interesting idea! And I'm glad you like the poetry contest -- I was a little nervous because I know poetry is not everyone's thing.

For something that involves voting, FF Hurt 'n' Heal? Taking the main characters from each main series FF, people vote to either give their favourite character some points or vote to take points away from their least favourite.

Once a character gets to 0 points, they're out of the game (and it's usually wise to keep a max of points, so one character doesn't end up with 300 points compared to everyone else' 20).

Actually (sorry for the confusion) but this kind of voting activity (i.e. March Madness style voting games) would go in ff_minigames. What I meant by voting is anything where people submit entries and they're later voted on and bonus points are awarded to the winner. Just to clear that up.

The Hurt 'n' Heal idea sounds really awesome. I'll add it to the list of ideas in ff_minigames

Ooh, these ideas sound nice. I was actually thinking about doing an essay/non-fictional contest this month, so maybe we could try that last idea you listed. I think I'll talk to the minigames mods, though, just in case they wanted to use these ideas.
