Written? Kitten! is one of the most wonderful things I've ever seen (thankyou newsbot3 for pointing it out to me :D). It's like write or die, but with the carrot rather than the stick. Writtenkitten is so cute. But I rather use write or die, because all the kitten pics distract me too much (I already tried. I'm so undisciplined. D:)

Thanks :D Obliterated Windows, and nstalled Ubuntu successfully last night, and I'm allowed to play/customise once I've done household chores and shopping today.

He's a Toshiba Satellite, so I called him Soundwave :P

LOL, yeah, I can see why Writeordie would be more useful to you. I think I'm just very well motivated by kittens...

It would indeed be cute - if one could work out how and where from to get it!

But I think it might be distracting and counterproductive like certain other things. What works best for me - you get do something you really need to do ONLY every five hundred words, like go to the loo, eat, drink, turn the aircond on etc. That works!

I think I'm one of these people who takes advantage of carrots but responds to being chased with a mega-stick! But I'm glad something works so well for you :-)

The link should just open up a simple web page with a text box. Type in the box, and after 100 words, you get a kitten! I hope you can get it to display, because it is really adorable.

I think I'm carrot motivated right now :P Although I have been known to sit here thinking 'another 100 words, and I can go pee' :P

Isn't it just? I wish I could find a way to email the creators and express how much I like it, but I couldn't find a link sadly.
