Due to being really busy offline, the update for Wages of Compassion won't happen until I get home from work today tomorrow (I can't focus, and I lack the ability to tell readable writing from shit right now). I haven't abandoned it. But it will be going on hiatus soon until January because I have so much to do and I need my weekends back.

Oh you. I think you're far stricter on yourself than your readers are. I admit you usually update ridiculously frequently, but it hadn't struck me as late yet.

I am, but if I'm not I won't get anything done. The regular updates thing was meant to be an experiment. Usually, I finish a story completely before posting any of it, but I decided to experiment with writing as I go. After ten weeks of it, I'm a little burnt out though.

Well that's understandable! Considering you work full time, you have produced this and other writings at an admirable rate. And I know how taxing it is to do a professional job during the week and then try and get stuff done as well as write at the weekends - its exhausting. And everyone needs space sometimes.
