Well that was probably my quietest weekend since forever....well a long while anyway. Damned Lurgy. No Friday Flock, No Slippery Belle, Not an ounce of Leeds goodness. Still i did manage to escape my self enforced prison and make it to Robins party in Bar Hill and see a few people to stop me going stir crazy ( Read more... )

Who are you, and what have you done with the old Lee? *grins*

A quiet time of it has been just what the doctor ordered after the hurly burly of Whitby for me too.

I self impounded myself after playing with the swine flu web site. I didn't have that, but enough symptoms for ordinary Flu that they would have given me anti-virals if i wanted. However most the time my body is good at kicking things, so was easier just to rest. I did sleep 14hrs at one point mind !

*nods* Sleeping it off is often the best thing with colds/flu.

Sounds like my weekend... I think it was Thursday that I was in bed for 14 hours. Slept terribly though, restless weird dreams, aches and feverish shivers and being too hot :( I was glad to get out for a bit on Saturday and Sunday! Quite low key sort of things though... damned Whitby flu!

I've been making use of the LJ calendar to remind myself of what I did and where over the past year. Most of my drawn-out ramblings are for my own diary purposes and if anyone else wants to read them, that's fine too. Another reason why LJ is so much better than Facebook, where its virtually impossible to re-find anything less than 5 minutes old! :-)

Ah i use my mobile in conjuction with outlook so the When and where are fine. Its the how and bits. The older i get the more i find the digital memories are useful.

LJ & FB are two completely different things to me and have very different uses and features. They both have merrit. Myspace on the other hand seems purely vaccuous unless its for bands.

I deactivated my Myspace account within 30 minutes of signing up! I do use it for bands (the WGT band list in particular) but couldn't see any point in it otherwise.

Oh i've had it for years.....more or less in a dormant state. Was useful to keep hold of the name etc, just in case and there is the odd friend on the who is not elsewhere, but it normaly gets forgotten....Actualy with twitter updates i have got them filtering down onto there....albeit that i use twitter as a mobile way of updating my facebook status !!!
