I was going to the Chenaux! I just wish I hadn't missed the Reveries when they played at the jazz festival. I was thinking of lying and saying I'd gone in my Spill coverage just to look cool to the one person who might even read it.
As mattressking says, you might like Derek Bailey. He passed away not long ago, I have every album he released that has been issued on CD if any of them appeal. A record of his with Evan Parker and Han Bennink was just reissued called 'The Topography of the Lungs', it's incredible.
i've been so busy lately doing nothing that I haven't been doing anythingmattresskingJuly 22 2006, 07:47:13 UTC
eric cheneaux was in a band called phleg camp in the 90s. they were heavy math rock. I saw him perform mirrorman by captain beefheart in the ocad shooting studio blahblahblah.
you might like derek bailey, who eric cheneaux gets a lot of influence from...but he's a little more out there with his approach..and like stereocity was saying, the reveries are pretty nice. I could lend you the cd if you trade back my videos, or watch them.

Is it the album Standup Comic or Nightclub Years? I have those, so don't trouble yourself, but thank you very much for the offer!
