this was a really beautiful idea, executed beautifully. the scene where the intruder breaks in and sylar creates elle dying another way and then avenges her death is so very good :)

this is my other favorite part:
The heat from that touch sent a tingle of electricity straight up his arm, igniting nerves that had felt neither the sting of cold nor the pleasure of warmth in close to seventy-five years. A pained groan tore from his throat and he felt her other hand come up to grip his arm, steadying him. When had he slumped to the ground? He saw her face (oh, that face!) swim before his eyes, her large eyes etched with worry. A burning ache rose in his chest at the sight of her. If she turned out to be a figment of his imagination again...oh, God...he squeezed his eyes shut.

lovely and very well-written; i like the imagery you used throughout.

I'm so pleased you liked it!! I have a hard time writing from Sylar's POV so I'm glad it imagery was cohesive. I love the idea of him being very haunted and maybe going a little crazy from remembering her.

Thank you! I can't stand it when things end badly for them (we've already seen too much of that on the show) so I like an ending with a bit of hope, too.
