It's only a matter of time now.

*giggles*
On a serious note, that was quite a brave step to take for him.

(Apologies, just deleted my comment after realising my mistake.)

I wish him and his family well, and hope he gets through this unscathed so he can get back to secretly organising awesome prison parties before Coulson notices.:)

I can't. I hope that's a newspaper useage and not part of a serious speech.

But either way! When did that suddenly become acceptable usage in the broadsheets? Did I somehow do a Rip Van Winkle?

I hope that it was meant in a post-modern, ironic way ;)

Letting the side down a bit. Obama wouldn't say "bitch-slapped". Well, actually...

Downing Street is this weekend braced for further “suggestive” reports to appear about the sexuality of a Cabinet minister.

There's a part of me that's all jokey and "let's take bets on who it is!", but at the moment it's out-muscled by the part of me that's screaming "NOT RELEVANT. LEAVE. THEM. ALONE."

I was reading other articles deciding which one to post and from some I got the impression he was the person they were referring to, so now I'm just confused.

I know what you mean, I keep oscillating between the two views. My love of slash is hard to contain though. However, if it turns out to be Wllm then I'd probably be less sympathetic since his stance on gay rights, esp when leader, was pretty atrocious. Mind you, Blunt wasn't brilliant either.

Apparently (as discussed in the previous post I hijacked because this is evidently my issue-du-jour ;), it *is* William Hague. Not only that, but he's been here before, and one comment on a blog I read speculated that Blunt's sudden coming out might have been designed to distract the media. Nah, nobody would do something like that just for political reasons... (or seriously think it would actually work?!)

I shall now stop spreading scurrilous rumours and comment instead on the fact that I didn't know Blunt was Emily Blunt's uncle. :)
