I really do think that you and my husband would get along famously. He does the same damn thing to me whenever he gets one of those dumbass political emails. It immediately gets sent to me because he knows that I'll tear it to shreds.

You've met my mother who also likes to pokes me with sticks. All the way up to DC she kept switching the radio station over to Limbaugh so I'd spike my blood pressure.

Am I really that entertaining when I'm ranting?

I know I can simply not respond...she's my sister and I love her but I just can't ever talk about politics with her. No matter how calm I stay, even though it is she that always brings it up (after telling ME not to talk about politics when I visit) it always gets turned around and I am the trouble-makers. Very distressing. Maybe she was adopted. Or dropped on her head as an infant.

Blah, that sounds WAY too much like my in-laws. I have no doubt they'd believe EVERY WORD, but not do any sort of research.
