I really really want to go to S.H.E's concert...

I'm not a big concert person (because, well, remember I never really like music all that much growing up), but ever since I found out that S.H.E is coming to an arena near me (where they will kick off their FIRST non-Asian tour), I've been following people coming near me ( Read more... )

I think I'll try to get it. It's hard though, because the ticket's $168, and I'm all jobless at the moment... I need a damn job.

I'll see... I don't really do things well on short notice (I'm a planner), so it's ridiculously intimidating to me for some reason. Then again, I have been wanting to go to the beach recently (the venue is in a seaside town).

My first ever concert was Goo Goo Dolls, I saw them twice and once was when they were on tour with Fast Ball and Sugar Ray (why does make me feel old? lol)
I say if you really want to go you should do it, when will you have another opportunity like this again?

Yay Goo Goo Dolls! I loved them so much back then (not that I don't love them anymore, but my favorite albums are "A Boy Named Goo", and "Dizzy Up The Girl"). Eh, I feel old too, especially considering when I went to that concert, I was in high school. Way creepy.

I think I'm going to try! The big problem is the ticket being $168, and me not currently having an income...

Shiiit, that ticket's expensive! I'd tell you to go, but heh, it's not MY money (speaking of money...don't forget! my money!)

What city is the concert in?

That's the VIP ticket, the others are less expensive, but SHIT, it's S.H.E, and I love them so so so much!
(I haven't forgotten! Do you think it'd be okay to wait until I get a job? As it stands, my loans are killing me, and I have to fix my car (fucking transmission is gone, apparently), and I guess I have to buy food... I'm good for it though! And hey, you know where I live!)

It's at the casino in Connecticut. Apparently the casino is a big concert place. Never knew that...

Ohh okay! What's the difference? Is it a better seat/area, or do you get to meet them?
(Yep, that's totally fine! I certainly don't need it right now, I just don't want you to think I've forgotten. YES I DO. And even if YOU move, I still know where your family lives! hahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA)

That's..really weird!

It's a meet and greet (I assume, most VIP tickets are, apparently), and possibly goods of some sort? I have no clue, really. They haven't announced it yet. The tickets only just went on sale 2 days ago.

(... are you going to hunt down my family? Because I'm pretty sure Dawn would fuck your shit up. Just warning you... But don't worry, I haven't forgotten, and I haven't dared to think you had either. Thought if WOULD be nice if you did. I wonder if I can influence you to lose your memory somehow.)

I know, right?! Connecticut as a big concert hotspot. Also gambling! And free drinks... I swear, I could go there and play the penny slots, and just get free drinks all day long. And then get sloshed, and pass out on the floor. Possibly in someone's blackjack game. Sounds like fun...
