Big Bang Epic Pimp Post : The Group (part 2)
Music Videos
If you ever wanted to see every single one of Big Bang's music videos all in one place, well this is it! I love music videos, they always make me like the song a lot more, since there's visuals to go with it. Of course a MV is only as good as it's song. Luckily Big Bang's songs are amazing, and the videos only add to their awesomeness. My favorite thing about Big Bang's videos is their diversity. They don't stick to one style, instead having all sorts of videos, from dance videos, to plotty videos, to performance videos. Not to say there aren't themes that carry over from video to video (those are fun to see when you watch the videos enough to recognize them ;P ). Anyway, I hope you enjoy them nearly as much as I do!
(This is a pretty complete collection, but it's always possible I forgot something somewhere)
"We Belong Together" was Big Bang's first single, and first music video. It features Park Bom of 2NE1 (who was a trainee at the time). This video is adorable, and is one of my favorites. "We Belong Together" is a song that focuses on GD and TOP, so naturally they have the most screenplay in this. I love at the end, where they suddenly transition to the single intro "V.I.P", and have totally different styles. It's pretty funny, especially GD with the fake dreads!

"눈물뿐인 바보 - A Fool's Only Tears" is also off their first single album. As "We Belong Together" had more of a focus on GD and TOP, "A Fool's Only Tears" focuses mainly on Young Bae, Dae, and Baby. I like this one a lot, especially the dancing. And the rain. I like it when hot boys are wet.

"This Love" is also off of Big Bang's first single album. This is GD's solo song, which he wrote about a girl from school he really liked, but she had a boyfriend, so they never dated. I love the video a ton, especially when GD is knocking down the mic stands. I don't know why I love that part so much, but I do...

"La La La" is off of their second single album. I love the school concept they have for this MV, and their adorable reactions with each other and the camera. It reminds me a lot of their Skoolooks CFs, in a good way! I love seeing the guys goof off in front of the camera.

"My Girl" is Young Bae's first solo song, off of their second single album. Young Bae is so cute in this. I love that he had his first kiss in this music video, and I love how awkward it is.

"Forever with You" is off their third single album, and is a lot like "We Belong Together" in that it's a GD and TOP song, and it also features Park Bom. I love the stark look of this MV, it fits with the song really nicely.

OMG this video... "Goodbye Baby" is also off the third single album, and is known to me as the video with the dance-off. I love it because it's so cliche. But it also shows the boys dance skills, which is awesome.

"Dirty Cash", off of "Since 2007" is one of Big Bang's most comedic videos. It features the boys playing dual characters. Especially funny is Young Bae in drag, and Baby wearing a cape. Their style was just beginning to evolve, and you can see that in this video.

"Victory" is actually a promo for the "Great" concert. "Victory" was the intro song off of their third single album. This video cuts the song is about half (they cut out the chorus a couple time, and one verse). I really like this video though, I like the flashlights, and the fact that they're just hanging out, and singing to the camera!

"Lies" was Big Bang's breakthrough song, off "Always". It's one of their plot heavy MVs (my favorite kind), and the style is fabulous, with the boys acting like ghosts. Possibly my favorite part: TOP in the shopping basket. The bloopers are the end are pretty hilarious. (Big Bang also released a
second version of the video, with new footage)

"Always", which is naturally off of "Always", is my favorite MV of theirs. I think it's because of all the home videos of the boys just being themselves. My favorite part happens around 2:00. Watch Baby in the background. He picks something off his arm and then smells it! Fun fact: this was filmed in Hawaii!

"Last Farewell" is off of "Hot Issue". "Last Farewell" is one of the songs that people new into Big Bang tend to like a lot. It's fun, energetic, and club-tastic. This video is great, very fun. It also stars Lee Dong Gun!

"How Gee", from "For the World", is so funny to me. It's like they took the American rap influence a bit too far, what with the cars, booty dancing, and bling (and there's another dance-off). It's a great MV though, one of their funnest.

"With U" is from "With U", and is just a gorgeous video. Mainly a dance video, "With U" managed to still look fresh, because the dance clips were inter-cut with a plot. Overall it's just fabulous, giving off a frantic vibe.

I can't embed it, but the video for "Stand Up" was a teaser for their "Stand Up" album release. "Stand Up" is actually the intro track off the album, and for some reason one of my favorite songs of theirs, despite being super short. I personally LOVE this video, with the flashing lights, the rain, and the random dog. It works well. This is essentially the full song (they cut it a bit in the middle).
Watch the video here! "Haru Haru", from "Stand Up" is another of my favorites. This music video is epic, with a strong tragic plot-line, and beautiful imagery. "Haru Haru" was the first real Big Bang video I saw, and it remains one of the strongest images I have of them. If you watch one Big Bang MV, let it be this one. (Big Bang also released a
Haru Haru Part II, which has new footage)

"Oh My Friend", also off of "Stand Up". This song features punk rock group No Brain, and is such a fun video. I love how the boys are shown in different careers. I especially love how GD is a mental patient. Baby as a mime creeps me out though ;D

"Number 1", off of "Number 1" is another one of my favorites. I love the club atmosphere in the MV. But my favorite part has to be at 1:50, when Young Bae slaps Aimee's ass. Hilarious.

"Sunset Glow", from "Remember" is a great MV. It's very funny, and yet kinda nostalgic at the same time. Dae is particularly hilarious in this video. I love how this video is pretty spontaneous. Can you imagine minding your business, and suddenly Big Bang shows up, and puts you on their bus?! I would die. I love TOP is supposed to be driving the bus, but TOP doesn't have a license. (Also, the bloopers are the end are awesome!)

"Strong Baby" from "Remember" was the song that got me into Big Bang. It figured it would be Baby that got me into them! Ah, what can I say about it. I love it, but I also find a lot of humor in it (maybe because I consistently find Baby funny). Either way, Baby is a great dance, and it's worth checking out just for that. You can also see Baby's abs!

"Ice Cream Love" was not a real release from Big Bang, but rather a song they used in a CF for the CYON Ice Cream 2 phone. Regardless, this video is adorable, with each of the members trying to impress Kim Tae Hee. I particularly like the beginning when they see Kim Tae Hee, and run off, leaving TOP lagging behind. The end is also adorable, the the boys reacting to Kim Tae Hee blowing them a kiss with her phone.

"So Fresh So Cool" is actually a CF song for HITE beer. Baby isn't in it, because he's underage, and was unable to participate. Anyway, this MV is actually a combination of the CF footage, and behind the scenes footage. I love when MVs include behind the scenes stuff, because I love seeing the boys interact.

"Lollipop", which is another CF song for the LG Lollipop song, is one of Big Bang's most famous MVs. Featuring 2NE1 (this song and MV actually acted as a debut for 2NE1), this video is COLORFUL. It's not my favorite ever, but it's catchy, and the video is fun.

"So I'm Loving You" is a collaborative CF for Lotte Duty Free. The video stars, among others, Big Bang, Rain, and Song Seung Hun. The video is cute, and I love seeing the boys in suits, but I will never be able to forgive them for cutting out Young Bae's voice, for some some unknown reason.

"젊은 그대 (Youthful You)", was also never a real release, but I'm include it here anyway. Big Bang released this CF for Caffe Latte coffee, and sang this song as the promotional song for the commercial. Big Bang never released this song, so you can only hear it in the CF. I enjoy the behind the scenes practicing footage.

"My Heaven", off of "My Heaven" is actually the Japanese version of "천국 (Heaven)", which was released on "Stand Up". This video is plot based, and has beautiful imagery. I especially like the scenes of the boys driving along the highway. I also quite like when GD's sitting in the chair singing at the camera.

"ガラガラ GO!! (Gara Gara GO!!)", off of "ガラガラ GO!!" is actually a lot like the video for "With U", in that it's a dance based video with strong backdrops. It's a fun video, especially if you pay attention to each member individually.

I actually wasn't going to include this MV for "할렐루야 (Hallelujah)", off of the IRIS OST, mostly because I while I'm pretty sure it's an official MV, I don't like the fact that it's just clips from the drama. Not a "real" Big Bang MV in my eyes. But this isn't just about my opinion, so here it is. Not that I don't love the song. I do, quite desperately. It was my favorite release in 2009, and one of my favorite songs of theirs overall.

"声をきかせて (Let Me Hear Your Voice)", off of "声をきかせて", never fails to remind me of the holiday season. I think it's all the white lights, and the cooler tones used in the video. This is a beautiful song, and the video fits it so well, with the soft focus and lighting. My favorite part of this MV is how the camera lingers on GD a lot, despite him having a relatively small part in the song.

"Lollipop Pt. 2, a CF song for the LG Lollipop 2, was just released a few days ago. The video is adorable, mimicking the original "Lollipop" with it's bright colors, and fun style. I love the set a ton, and I love how adorable the boys are.
