Stand Up!!

So on my quest to find a drama to watch, I downloaded four possible choices: Kisarazu Cat's Eye, Stand Up!!, The Vineyard Man, and TRICK.

I watched one episode of Kisarazu Cat's Eye, and quite enjoyed it. It is filled with actors I already know (Okada from V6! Sho from Arashi! TakaC! Masa from IWGP! [yes, I know that's not his real name] Takeru

Hahaha I watched Stand Up!! closer to when it aired, so it was less creepy for me. But seriously, after Yamapi stopped being baby!Yamapi, he's looked about the same in the face, so who cares? As long as you don't lust after baby!Yamapi, all is good.

Nino's so perfect for SU!! because although he's not as quirky as the others, he LOOKS like such a dork.

Makes me want to rewatch it, or at least..reskim it..

Exactly! Even baby!Yamapi looked basically the same in the face... Apparently Yamapi just always looks the same. But bleeeehhh! Lusting after baby!Yamapi?! Grosssssssss! He's adorable, and I want to pet him, and save him from being murdered all the time, but nothing more. NOTHING.

I know! Like Pi, Shun, and Hiroki are all really good looking, but kinda fucked in teh brainz. And then Nino's nice and normal, but so dorky looking! It works!

LOL so true about Nino XD While the others if they acted different ways would be really cool, even if Nino tries he is still so dorky to me I can never find him attractive LOLz.

Holy crap I always forget how stunning Narimiya Hiroki is, and then I look at him and think, "whoa."

And re: Inuyasha, any particular pairing? I used to be a big reader so I probably have some favourites saved somewhere.

I know, he really is quite attractive. Which is especially amusing in this show where he's a giant dork. Oh, have you seen the naked anan photoshoot he did? Quite nice. Quite nice indeed.

I read Inuyasha/Kagome almost exclusively. I actually read some of your recs on your fic rec community already! But if you have more, I'd LOVE to read them.

I fully support anyone who wants to watch Vineyard Man. I loooooved it. It was one of those dramas that had me staying up late saying "just one more episode" because the OTP was too cute.

Stand Up!! was OK for me, but I'm not a huge fan.

I remember your picspam about it! Actually, for some reason, prior to that I thought the drama was tragic. No idea why... I can't wait to actually start it!

I'm liking it so far, but I have a thing for adorably stupid boys making fools out of themselves :D

I love how they would all go to the love hotels and listen to the people next door lol. Shun's hair is so fried in this lol XD But Hiroki looks awesome.

I love it so much so far! I think I'm shipping wrongly though. I love Becky's character! I keep wanting her and Shun to get together!

Ah, I know! Too cute! I love how they timed them. They're all adorable! I love Shun enough so I am willing to look past his hair. Hiroki is hot, as always. And YAMAPI! I flail WAY too much over him.

I always love Hiroki alot! I always feel like he should get more attention then he does, but maybe he wants it that way! I didn't really care anything about Shun before, but now since I've been watching Tokyo Dogs I'm suddenly really liking him haha. I like his character in that XD! (And Hiro's in it! omg they are both awesome. I would be lying if I said I watched it partly for the eye candy lol)

And that's when Pi didn't have man boobies! lol XD

I love Stand Up!! All the guys are such dorks, but also have occasional mature moments as well. It's mostly light-hearted comedy, but also gets some darker tones later as well.

BTW, just as a heads-up (I don't know if you get e-mail comment notifications or not), I posted some book recs in your Christmas requests post :).

I'm really loving it so far! You're right, it's a perfect mix of comedy and darker stuff. Exactly what I needed in a drama.
