Awhile ago I kinda promised/hinted at my top drama lists. I have a top ten for jdramas, a top 5 for twdramas, and a top 3 for kdramas. I kinda wanted to make it fancy, and I might still one day, but as for now, I'm content with just posting it

No one ever DOES watch it, do they? I wonder why... There's violence, femmeslash (well, kinda), and total freaking psycho people, and cute boys... what more could you ask for?!

It was quite popular in Japan, though!

HYD seems to be everyones first doesn't it?

HYD is a good first jdrama for people, since it's so well known! Also, it's just adorable, and well done, so that helps!

H&C is about a group of friends in an art college. It deals with them maturing, trying to decide what to do with their lives, and how they deal with their relationships. It's kinda sad, because they all are dealing with one sided, unfulfilled love. But it's portrayed very beautifully. It's based on a (very) popular manga, so you can read more about the story at the wiki pageKKK2003 is one of those dramas that tends to divide people; you either love it, or you hate it. I caught this old-ish jdrama yesterday titled With Love featuring Takenouchi Yutaka as the male lead. It's probably the most genuine jdrama I've seen, in the sense that its characters and their problems are very realistic. No vengeful exes or other crazies that we've come to expect (and love). I was really touched.
It made me wonder how jdramas transformed from sober to crack!tastic. Though I don't mind the crack :)

Oh, that drama sounds really good. I tend to like the older dramas, they often seem more genuine, and rely more on acting than on fancy sets and stuff. I think that's why I love Honey and Clover so much, it reminds me of an older drama, despite being recently made.
Hehe, I don't mind the crack at all either, and I don't know what I would do without it, but I still tend to prefer the quieter simple dramas.
