I've only seen one episode of this but I might have to try again. I HAVE watched the anime and even five-year-old me knew back then that everyone was retarded for not knowing that Usagi was Serenity. Retarded and perhaps blind.

It never made sense to me either why they couldn't figure out that Usagi was Serenity... I mean, God, she looks EXACTLY THE SAME. Plus she's Sailor MOON. Like, wtf?!

If we're getting all plotty, Luna's memories have been tampered with/sealed off or something, I can't remember, but she actually can't recall what the princess looks like.

The thing that annoyed me was that she was Sailor MOON of the MOON KINGDOM and no one twigged at that?! SHE WAS THE ONLY NON-PLANET, OF COURSE SHE'S SPECIAL! (I think it's just that everyone considers Usagi too stupid to be the princess, it just honestly never crosses their minds!)

And Mamoru doesn't get any less awkward as the series progresses, so you have plenty of awkward to look forward to!

I think I remember that... maybe. It's been awhile since I've watched the anime or read the manga. 12 years to be exact. And yeah, exactly, she's Sailor MOOOOON!! (Aw, that makes me feel bad for poor dumb Usagi...)

Aw, yay! Awkward Mamoru is adorable. I've still only gotten through one episode though. Watching four shows at once makes for slow progress...

I knew Luna was a plushie, but when I found out I nearly died of laughter. Why a plushie?! Could they not afford a real cat?

IIRC, even in the manga, Luna doesn't know. Minako and Artemis are the only ones who know, but everyone else's memories have been sealed off. Serenity must have that weird "veil of invisibility" thing that Sailor Moon has, where even people who know Usagi don't recognize her as Sailor Moon. I mean, she doesn't even wear a mask!

Okay, I knew that she didn't remember, but like, it's not that hard to figure out. She's Sailor MOON.

At least in the drama her hair changes... in the manga/anime she looks exactly the same as Sailor Moon or Usagi.

YES. I think they couldn't decide on a design they liked, so they changed it a couple times before settling on one design.

Yeah, you'd think! I think there are scenes where Luna's like "maybe Usagi's the princess.." and then Usagi does something totally stupid, and Luna's like "NO WAY."

It makes me want to reread the first part of the manga, to see how much Luna remembers. Cause if she doesn't remember what Serenity looks like, then that would help somewhat. But, still, MOON. Why would Sailor Venus be the princess of the MOON Kingdom when you have a Sailor MOON? At the very least, Usagi should be the most important guardian soldier, or something like that, since she's Sailor MOON.

I watched one more episode, but I think it was the same mask as the first episode, which made me sad. There was a twdrama where they did that. It was a good luck charm, and it would change like everytime you saw it.

I know! Venus is, you know, VENUS. It's just so ridiculous. I forget a lot of Sailor Moon things though. It's been forever since I've watched or read it.
