Anna-san no Omame is on my to-watch list because it's supposed to be funny... but it has Becky, who I can only take in small doses, so I'm a little gun-shy.

But - Nodame!!! Love it!

I've heard that about Becky. I've never seen her before, but I guess she takes some getting used to. But yeah, I've heard it's really funny, and I kinda want something funny now. I'm looking forward to it!

Everyone loves it, so I'll probably love it too! I keep meaning to download it, but for some reason always forget to...

I have a love-hate relationship with the length of jdramas. I totally agree with you about the episode length & short seasons/series -- they manage to tell so much of the story in such a small amount of time & they do it very well. That said, if I'm really into something, I finish the series wanting more! XD 10-15 episodes isn't always enough to satisfy!

Becky is awesome in the Nodame Cantabile SP. I didn't know much about her before I watched it, but I was really impressed -- it takes a strong actress to outcrazy Juri-chan. :P

I agree! Usually I'm good with the jdrama length. It's long enough to tell a good story, and short enough so I don't get bored with it. But yeah, sometimes I just want more! Like, I would love another season of Mei-chan. And I'll tell you, 11 episodes of Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003 was definitely not enough for me!

I'm watching Nodame Cantabile right now, and all this talk about Becky in the SP is getting me excited to watch it!
