Well, this is an interesting thing to wake up to;
Joo Ji Hoon busted for drug use
Ju Ji Hun admits to drug useWhat can I say... It's really sad, actually. He's obviously a really good actor, but now his career is probably ruined. Asia is not American, a drug scandal is not immediately fixed with rehab and good publicity ( Read more... )

Srgh! No! He is one of my favorite k-actors and you are right, his career is over (in best-case scenaeio, for a bit, and in worst, forever).

Booo! I was so excited for that Tokyo Tower remake drama with him, too. Honestly, since I am not a family member of his, I couldn't care less if he does drugs - I just want him to stay on my screen.

It's really really sad. I don't know much about Korean drug laws, but it seems like his career really will be ruined. I hope he pulls a Robert Downey Jr, and makes a come back.

I agree, I mean, it's better if he doesn't do drugs of course, but it's not like ecstasy and ketamine are the worst things ever. And really, I have a feeling a LOT of people in Korean entertainment are doing them... With how busy a lot of stars are, I wouldn't be suprised if a good portion of them are using some form of stimulant.

I agree. If he's not someone I personally care about, let him screw his own life over all he wants. He's so hot! Yeah, they're probably going to have to replace him in Tokyo Tower. His career was going so well too! It's a shame, but he messed things up for himself.

This is such a bummer! Between this and the SMAP guy, I'm getting a big lesson on how other entertainment industries deal with negative public behavior. I hope Joo Ji Hoon gets another chance eventually.

And more celebrities to be named? Wow, this could be huge.

I hope so too. He's so talented, and so young. From what I've heard about Korea's conservativism, though, I'm not holding my breath on a comeback anytime in the near or even slightly distant future.

No one else has been named yet, but I have a feeling it's going to get pretty ugly.

I KNOW! I'm so sad over the whole thing. I wasn't a huge rabid fan of his, but he had such potential!
