I like that jdramas are short - I watched Cat Street and it felt like only ten minutes later that the entire thing was done. Tragically it also turned me off jdramas for a couple of months because that passionless hug at the end was the pinnacle of romance in the entire series and stuff like that happens far too often in jdramas for a romantic for me. I like twdramas (and some kdramas) because they're not afraid to have physical affection. I'm not a pervert - it's just nice to see some evidence of the love!

For six months of drama-watching, you've done really really well! I've been watching on and off for about five years and you've actually seen more twdramas than I have! My own drama list is here if you want some more recs or whatever, just ask about anything I've seen and I'll give you a rundown and my thoughts on the series.

I feel the same way about jdramas. I really do like them, but the whole lack of affection is a huge turn off. That's why I switched to twdramas, they're much more demonstrative, without being sleazy. I actually like to switch them up, because I get burnt out on one or the other if I watch too many in a row. Preaching to the choir man, chaste hugs and close-mouthed kissing gets pretty tedious after awhile, plus a lot of the time it looks like they're super uncomfortable, which just ruins the whole illusion.

Hehehe! No one can say that I don't commit to things I like! I'm a media junkie. It's my hobby. Yay! Thanks! I'll probably take you up on that, especially with the kdramas. I want to expand my drama horizons at some point.

Squee! Toma icon! *loves* I will answer with one of my own... I strangely have a TON of Toma icons.

Oh you didn't know about live action Sailor Moon?! I finally watched it, years after everyone else had. It's...different.

Nooooooo! I totally didn't! But then, really, why would I? I was obsessed with Sailor Moon around 12 years ago, the show came out 5 years ago, and I've only been into dramas for 6 months... the time periods didn't match, so it's no wonder I didn't know.

Hehehe! I'll probably like it though. I like everything. But question, do you remember how long the episodes are, because there's like 40 episodes....
