That family friend only offered $5? What a cheapskate. No wonder your grandma didn't want to accept it.

I actually think the family friend offered $6. I was the cheapskate.

Finding Abe Lincoln *can* be like finding Jesus, but you can't dip the Emancipation Proclamation like you can the Bible. I do admit that I've never tried. Perhaps this weekend?

So you pocketed $1? Was that a middleman's fee or something? That's a pretty good racket.

Sure, I'd be up for some EP dipping. Do we have a copy of it? Is it long enough?

I always charge a middleman's fee. I do not have a copy of the EP. I will, though. I will. Oh, and check out the SNL thing on hulu - Palin/Clinton opening. Good stuff.
