Gibson Made This

After nearly two years, MilovianXor and I came to the series finale of The X-Files. There was just about anything you could ask for in an episode -- unbelievable pyrotechnic scenes, visions of the dead, the most irrational trial that I’ve ever heard of, Marita Covarrubias, Gibson, Super Soldiers, flashbacks, an improbable (if not impossible) prison ( Read more... )

I'm kind of depressed now.

You forgot to mention the CSM and his Freddy Kruger-esque son Jeffrey.

I wonder if Seinfeld copied the X-Files series finale or if it was the other way around. That show also had an improbable trial which brought back many past notables. The only thing that differed was the Seinfeld finale sucked.

I usually find series finales to be letdowns, mostly because expectations are so high. My all-time favorite series finale was Frasier. It was exquisite. But then, so was the series.

I did enjoy getting one more look at Krychek, though.

I also didn't mention the Lone Gunmen (not really). I figured that they are a given to the series finale (as the CSM). Jeffrey Spender is not so obvious, but - yeah, he was there too ... with his nose hole and all.

Ah Krychek - hot bad ass.

At least I will never forget one this about the series. Your screams of, "SKINNER!!!!!"

Well, I felt that the Lone Gunmen were included in the "visions of the dead", as were Krychek and X. I'm surprised Fox's parents or Deep Throat didn't make an appearance, although they might not have been able to get the actors to film it.

Alright, just one more time, for old time's sake.....

SKINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mulder's dad was in it, but in a past clip... not any new footage.
