Would you mind if I added you? Or even a mutual add?

a mutual add is absolutely essential after a view on your journal.

and you´re lucky, i have the Week Of Self-Pity in mine as a special welcome gift these days!

ich wollte auch schon bei dir anklopfen. vermutlich weisst du warum. dein einziger offener blog ist aber der nachruf auf deinen opa und da anzufragen wäre irgendwie nicht angemessen gewesen finde ich. also, quid pro quo?

It may be silly - but he first thing I thought of when I saw that you lived in Bavaria was - ' Oh isn't that the place Nick McCarthy comes from!' - which edition of Newsweek was that, anyway?

Oh and I've added you - would you add me back?

and you´re right, nick mccarthy grew up in rosenheim, a little town about 150 km from here!
the newsweek edition is 1991, march 04, page 5. i´m not sure if newsweek had a special european edition at the time or if it was printed worldwide.

of course i add you, i´m really excited to learn something about your life in india!

Well I never noticed anything about Bavaria before Franz Ferdinand, and it seems to pop up in so many places these days. Just today there was an article about the 'piano patient' who has gone back to Bavaria. And it isn't often newspapers here write about Germany. And when they do, it is just about industrial tie ups. Is your novel going to be in German or in English?

this seems to be a remarkable coincidence, doesn`t it?
today i´ve seen a short feature about the 'piano man' as they call him here in the local news. he lives about 70 km from here and they interviewed his neighbours who had seen his pictures during the last months but none of them has recognized him as the boy from next door. what a strange story!
i write the novel in german because my english is neither good nor fluent enough to write it down as the lines come to my mind (so please also excuse my mistakes in my entries..). and i think one writes much better in a language he also speaks in daily and, unfortunately, there are not many occasions to speak english here.
would you like to tell me in what province (or state?) you live? i would like to ask google for some pictures because i am sure that your environment is totally different to all i know by now. my only ponits of contact with india are, of course, mahatma ghandi, and since some years arundathi roy who i like a lot for her essays.
