Hmm ... I had to give this one some thought. Stephen in HH isn't necessarily averse to intimacy with men. I can't really imagine him and Tyrion ever doing anything, even if very drunk, but I can imagine them developing enough respect and fellow-feeling for one another that they could get subtexty. The disfigurement, etc., wouldn't really be a factor, because it'd be a purely cerebral attraction.
