So here I am innocently surfing on etsy for some cute plugs for my gauges. Me, being a total idiot apparently, type "plugs" into the search bar. What do I see?

That's a pretty typical shape for a butt plug.

I meant more the color scheme and, er, patterns. The shape is typical of your average buttplug, yes. (There are several sex shops within a block of where I live. I've seen many a buttplug just walking past the stores.)

Other than the colour scheme it's a pretty common shape for a plug really. The colour scheme though ... Well, I'm sure there are people who want their sex toys to look bloody. *shudder*

I don't think porcelain is a very safe material for sex toys, considering how easily it can break. I thought only tempered/Pyrex glass was sex toy safe.

I could be mistaken, though.

Either way, porcelain or Pyrex, that is an ugly color scheme. Blech!
