No, the fur isn't fake I don't think. The "artist" uses a lot of real animals parts.

They are apparently made by a designer named Iris Schieferstein (http://www.iris-schieferstein.de/objekte.html) and this isn't the first pair that are just insane. Go look at her other shit!
