They're actually really cool. But, I've always been of the idea that buying anything too expensive for newborns is a waste, no matter how cute. They'll grow out of anything in like, five minutes. Maybe for a slightly older child.

Moral issues aside I think wearing skin is just plain creepy. But those shoes would be ugly regardless of their material, especially for that price.

They're pretty unique, and I'd rather have my kids wearing animal skin than plastic and petroleum-based materials that won't biodegrade and are an even bigger threat to animals than booohooo leather.
