That first outfit has the potential to look really hot on a 40's pin up looking lady with a snappy personality, instead of someone who looks like they hate life and wants to set the room on fire with their mind.

the rest however... D: reject costumes from early sci-fi tv shows? whyyyy?

I think there should be a rule against posting runway outfits here. Designers intentionally push the envelope at these shows, and therefore "Ugly Crap" is sort of de rigueur. If you see an outfit like this for sale at Macy's then by all means post it.

But so much of this doesn't push anything. Some pieces could be alien outfits from old sci-fi shows. I'm all for weird and new, I love haute couture, but I somehow expect a little more accessible, or transferable things from rtw. Though I must admit the bathmat dresses qualify as transferable, but they still look like bathmat dresses.
