I forgot to ask. Did they check you for superbugs? I had an MRSA infection that took forever to clear up. The symptoms were similar to what you've got, though my never went septic.

Hey...a camera mount is fine, but you aren't living now days until you get an Android or an Ipad mounted there...with lot's of wires and tubes that run from there to your brain so you look all Sy.. er, SciFi-ee.

I would come visit, but I've been fighting a persistent cough the last few weeks, that coupled with my HIV weakened immune system...it's probably not a good idea for me to hang around mysterious infections.

Though, reading your most recent post, maybe I can invite some friends to sit out in the parking lot with WiFi enabled Laptops so we can establish an Ad-Hoc Internet connection for you to access pr0n. Maria has internet at her place, if we get enough laptops stringed along (via Wifi), it can be done.
