SAUNA: I’ve always loved it ever since I was in my teens. In accordance with that day’s physical conditions, I would repeat the sauna> cold bath around 3 or 4 times. It’s a time where you can switch on and off.
DRAMA: Right now, I’m in the middle of shooting “Seigi no tenbin”. I’m shooting this drama while also discussing with the director about the way I should build my character Takano.
COOKING: I cook almost every day. Just like when I go to the sauna, when I am cooking at home it’s the time when I get to leave work and have some time off.
SPORTS: Of course, it’s baseball. This year I also got the opportunity to make news coverages for the Tokyo Olympics; on my days off I also play golf. Sports are something always present inside of me.

“In these 15 years, each of us has become an adult”
I believe that during all these years our relationship hasn’t changed that much compared to the past. We’ve talked about this in various places, so this topic is getting stale now, however after such a naughty era we had, everyone has grown and became an adult and was able to preserve a good feeling of distance. (Nakamaru)
“A change of relationship of mutual respect”
In the past, we didn’t really pay attention to our comrades, and we just said whatever we wanted to say, however we gradually learnt how to respect each other, not making others uncomfortable or not meddle in. (Ueda)
“Everyone has changed without even noticing it”
I believe Ueda-kun has changed a lot when it comes to his looks. As for Nakamaru-kun, I feel that his attention to matters has become stronger. I feel that things have naturally gone through changes during these 15 years. (Kamenashi)

The 4 words that make Ueda Tatsuya
DRIVING: I love both cars and motorcycles. I drive without deciding the place of destination and then I take pictures in front of my friends’ house and send the pics to them to surprise them (laughs).
FOOD: In the past, I used to like meat, but lately I feel like eating sushi or Japanese foods that matches some delicious Japanese sake more often. My tastes have changed.
ONSEN: I used to go there around 3 or 4 times a year, before. I really like the feeling of having some carefree time with friends and spending time in luxury; when things calm down, I want to go to onsen.
WORK: I usually bring my work at home no matter what. I think about it even when I’m at home, so I believe that its percentage is quite big inside of me.

“The Hyphens who embraced us for so long have an “inseparable relationship” -with us-“
Hyphens’ existence is the power motive of our activities. I feel like we have a sensible inseparable relationship as well. It’s been nearly 20 years since this exciting group’s formation and I have this kind of feeling in regards of those who have been supporting us for such a long time, on top of all. (Nakamaru)
“The excitement during concerts is good!”
Live concerts are our only way to get in contact with our fans, but I think that the excitement is really amazing, isn’t it. I believe that there are many fans who had to overcome various things with us up until now. (Ueda)
“I want to share both good and bad things”
-Our fans- still support us like this after our various eras. I think they are big-hearted people. I want to return all of this and it would be great if we could still keep this relationship where we can share both good things and bad things. (Kamenashi)

I would like to express my gratitude with words, but I want to directly tell you my own words in details during some broadcasts or during the concerts’ greetings, so I will tell you there.

YOUTUBE: Thanks to Ninomiya (Kazunari) for creating an environment where we can feel at ease as much as possible, it is really a great place where I also got the chance to interact with kouhai!
GROUP (KAT-TUN): After the 15th anniversary tour’s end, now we are enjoying our tv shows. Even through SNS, I feel like a lot of people are celebrating our 15th anniversary.
FOOD: I’ve always loved fruit and this year’s summer I also ate quite a lot of peach and watermelon! After all, seasonal fruit makes you feel good!
ILLUSTRATIONS: I have been having more opportunities to draw for work and I’m really enjoying it. Some of the drawings I’m working on are to be released into the world in future as well!

Just as always, the fans make the biggest part of our growth, however each of us has different interests or things we want to do; we hope we can boldly take these challenges so that we can add value to our group. (Nakamaru)
“I want to work with all my might through this year for our 15th anniversary”
I think that we will think about what will happen in future when that time comes. Anyway, it’s important, for this year, to work with all our energies while trying to express our gratitude for having been able to celebrate our 15th anniversary, thus I would like to focus on that. (Ueda)
“I want to complete our 15th anniversary properly”
For starters, I want to properly spend this 15th anniversary! We held a tour, we’ve released singles as well and we have been starring in tv shows as well; it became a year where we could attract many people’s attention, I believe, so I want to accomplish this. (Kamenashi)
