Yuichi being scared to be the 3rd wheel is understandable. And we're talking about a father-and-son relationship. Family ties are stronger than anything else. By far I think this is Yuichi's biggest dilemma. In this case, he is allowed to be selfish.

I am curious what made Ueda's father change.
I've always been a skeptical person especially when a person's behavior can suddenly change.

I understand Yuichi's dilemma.
Hopefully he will think of Tat-chan first and his happiness.
If he can do that, I am sure Tat-chan will stay with him.

Yes, it is always suspicious when somebody changes their behaviour suddenly. I get what your saying , and I hope I'll be able to write something that will not arouse too much suspicion =.=;

I'm so happy to see an update of this fic!

I really enjoyed this chapter ^^
I especially loved the comparison between the comfortable silence that they used to share and the awkward silence following the run-in with Ueda's father. It was so sweet to see them going back to the notes and closing the distance between them <3

I'm happy to see Tatsuya opening up more to Yuichi, but at the same time it's bittersweet with Yuichi getting caught up in his own insecurities ;A; But I have faith Yuichi will do the right thing :D
