Oh Brilliant! Ha! Djaq is so clever, as always.

I remember there was some discussion about this during the S1 rewatch - the idea of Djaq using his axe as an example of a "tool" that can be good and evil. That's exactly the sort of thing she would do and exactly the sort of thing he would understand and respond to. I love how they reach an understanding and I can really picture her using her best "innocent" voice as she explained the evils of the hatchet to Allan and Will. Perfect!

And there's yummy OT3 goodness to boot! This is really really great!

That was my suggestion during S1 rewatch, so I don't feel too bad about exploiting it for a plot bunny, lol. SOFA always left me a bit dissatisfied for that reason, even though it's a tremendously well-written story.

I like the idea that there are parts of Will and Djaq's geekiness Allan will never quite get too. ;)

I wanted to get this to you to beta read, but I also didn't want to miss the Intercomm deadline, lol. Sorry about that.
