Oh, I loved this. I've always had a thing about hands. One of my favorite photo essays done in school was on the subject of "hands." It's amazing how distinctive and telling they can be.

When you left Will off of the "inventory," I knew you had something special planned. You did NOT disappoint. The absent-minded caressing with a single thumb - so natural, so heartfelt - was fabulous.

(I am both stunned and appalled that I hadn't actually commented on this up until now! Please forgive me!)

This is a wonderful fic - to take such a simple prompt and develop it so beautifully to tell us so much about Djaq and also how she views those around her. You captured each of the outlaws perfectly in so few words.

The theme of good men, decent men and the best man was also beautifully woven through the whole fic.
