Ah, so beautiful. You were very tender with their grief, almost as reverent of their feelings as Will and Djaq were of the graves. Lovely. Just lovely.

I adore stories that give any sort of resolution to Allan, Will, and Djaq, and this one is just lovely. It's so easy to feel Djaq's grief here. It seems fitting that even though years have passed, standing in front of these graves - Allan's in particular - would make the deaths of their friends feel immediate. This is very sad and satisfying at the same time.

Beautiful. Envisioning the three graves actually brought tear to my eyes. I'm not a fan of these kinds of fic, being a queen of denial. But this is lovely: closure AND beginning.

Thanks, usually I stay away from death fics but the bunnies, the evil bunnies come along and I find myself writing these type of fics.

Very nicely done. So sad and yet very beautiful. I really like that this is written in the present tense as that seems so fitting somehow because time has passed and yet, for them, the grief is new and immediate. And naming their son after Allan is such a lovely tribute to the friend/brother they both loved and lost.
