Well, and it's a compliment from La Grand, which is bound to make any hot-blooded female (or male) blush like mad. ;)

Poor Djaq; she's caught in a conundrum that's not common for her time, but is more familiar now.

Ah, what a quandary our poor Djaq is in. She wants to be a girl, but not so much. ;)

This was really great, I enjoyed it, and particularly the way it captures something I really wished that episode had explored a bit more.

Ooh - I'm curious - what is it you wanted the ep to explore more? A new guy coming in and getting the hots for Djaq? Not seeing her as one of the lads?

Actually, what bothered me a bit about that scene in 2x11 was that it's obvious there's some sort of reaction from Will and Djaq to Legrand's statement, but the actors' faces are sort of obscured in the shot, so you can't see it! Aaaargh.

It would have been nice to see some of that before Djaq's giant declarations of twu wuv in the next episode...
