www.meganslaw.ca.gov .... for those of you not in Cali .... cruise toyour own special site via www.sexoffenders.org. There's someone living in the building next to mine who raped someone under 14. I'm really NOT comfortable with this :(

Damn paper research...always leads to my unhappiness.

Why are YOU uncomfortable with it? You're not under 14. No one you know (that lives in your building) is under 14 (I think). You don't even look under 14.

So why is it a problem for you?

Most likely because his other charges involved sexual battery of an adult in addition to the other people around the block charged with forced sodomy etc. It's not just him, he was just the closest and most heinous.

Oh, ok... well, you didn't mention anything about the other charges before.

I thought it a little odd that you would feel "uncomfortable" just because you had someone in your building who had committed a horrible crime against a child. I mean, since you're not a child, and you have no children... it seemed a little more more "puritanical" than you normally are to simply "not want that kind of person in your building"... know what I mean?
