[Hailing from somewhere in the forest is a tiny grey-and-white tabby kitten, adorned with equally tiny white wings. She stops every few seconds to stare quizzically at her surroundings, and then continues. Perhaps eventually she'll run into your ankles

[Taichi was just coming down from his tree house and eventually he gets tired of climbing and just jumps off of the ladder. Chi hopefully you're not in the way]

[No but we were close enough to where that's going to freak us right the hell out. Thus with a yowl and a scamper, we're going to disappear behind the nearest tree in a blur of white and grey.]

[Here Taichi, have a pair of giant eyes leering at you from behind the tree.]

[Attention span of a gnat, Chi doesn't notice Atoli until she's nearly run into her, which... results in her promptly flailing her way a few feet away and hiding behind a tree. It's nothing personal, you just startled her.]

[STARES BACK, although in a considerably more alarmed fashion. Yes, we are lost, no, we don't understand the concept of being able to talk here so we're not sure how to tell you that. Meow.]

[Cloud was too used to talking not-humans before getting to Luceti, so with how Chi's acting, he's going to assume she's just not talking because she's scared.]

The village is that way. [Yeah, unfortunately, Cloud's not too good with scared kittens. ...or people.]
