Well. I just got an email, out of the blue, from the woman who messed with me back in January. She's apologised, saying she realises now she acted in a rather juvenile fashion, and that upon reflection she's sorry about it all.

Delayed response (due to absence from LJ, not absence of care): why not say something along the lines of what you've said above, should you care to respond?

ie: Thank you for your email, and the apology. Unfortunately, I'm not quite ready to renew contact just yet, but perhaps some time in the future it would be good to renew our friendship. Kind regards,
