Father's day and I'm old

So, about three and a half hours ago, I called my dad to wish him a happy birthday. We chatted a bit, and he mentioned that he'd had a very relaxed day and that it had been great for him. He'd just eaten dinner and was fully intending to go to bed about 8 PM. I teased him, of course, for being old and going to bed so early

I don't think you're that much older than me.

Anyway, my oldness is in the 'you're only as old as you feel' style. Not the chronological.

Though, to my credit, when I'm not working as much as I currently do, I stay up much later and feel much less old.

Yeah, see... it's totally situation-dependent oldness :) That should be a more widely used term... e.g., "I have SDO."
