This is something I could see happening inside Laura's head and something that could have come right out of the show. I can feel her loneliness and her fear of not having enough time with Bill.
I love the ending. So romantic and bittersweet. They are just such a perfect couple.
I thoroughly enjoyed this snippet into their lives and I hope that you'll write more for them. You write them really well!

This fic does so much in under 500 words. I adore how you brought it back around with Bill showing up (best boyfriend ever). Laura is afraid to die alone. You've done justice to that fear here, and the relief and joy she feels at seeing him is a great emotional payoff.
