You're going to have a blast doll! I hope you get lots of writery ideas :D Do jot them down. You should keep a trip journal too - to squee and gush in while you're in the big apple.
It's ok - "rambling D" is always entertaining! I'm bummed I can't go to NYC and be a badass like you. I think this mini-vacation is going to be a beneficial escape for you.
Won't you have the internet in your pocket via your iPhone? Can you at least tweet and document your trip that way?
I'm so proud of you for finishing your writing challenge, but I hate that you've had some technical difficulties and lose some of your writing. I understand the finality of having something you've originally written, get lost or disappear on you. It's so heartbreaking.
Sorry about the change in your Thanksgiving tradition, but I'm glad that you're spending time with people you care about. :) I admire and appreciate your positive outlook and remembering what you are thankful for. I'm thankful for friends, near and far, and the capacity to create, that is once I get out of my own way. lol
