Drabble Challenge - Post #1

May 17, 2009 17:49

Because of the large quantity of drabble requests (30!), I've decided to post them in groups of five as I write them. There's no rhyme or reason to which ones I've started with; it's just been as the inspiration comes to me. I really want these to have some thought behind them, so be patient.

Please comment and let me know what you think, even if ( Read more... )

I love them all! The Alice/Dana and last Mirandy ones are beautiful, and the Callica one is so cute; I could hear Erica growling about "those sites" in my head.,

drabble sequels...omg. maybe i'll allow one person to request ONE sequel each! i haven't even finished the ones i have!! i can't be thinking about more!

i'm so glad you liked the drabbles so much - especially the Alice one. writing it made me a little choked up too....such true words, even if we all have trouble following that advice for ourselves.

Yay, new stories have come out :-D!

Heart Doctor - Is it wrong that I find the whole 'OMG, people write naughty stories on the web about ladies in TV shows' genre of fic to be the most hilarious and cute thing you can find in fanfic? I love how you twisted it around so that C/E were looking at DWP and making all the observations we know are true? I can just see Erica becoming a DWP superfan somehow. And maybe finding that Callie has a thing about stilleto heels and using it to her advantage ;).

Such Civil War - Using an audible poem reading to tug at Andy's feelings, especially a sonnet was a great touch and I loved seeing her anguish at the abandonment. I thought that this one had a good color to it, and that you could've easily just used the sonnet to save words, but only used it in order to get into the story itself.

I also admire you for holding back orgasmic lust for Hilary and what I'm sure is 'I want to kick him in the balls' anger at Giuliani ;).

Running - Great prompt and great little tale. It was a bitter one for sure ( ... )

i'm super duper happy that you're liking these so much, and even more happy that you liked your prompt! i was a little nervous about what to do with them because i couldn't just throw them in the middle of a situation and have it make sense. juuuuust maybe i will expand it someday for you :)

thanks so much for your constant support!!
