Pop Matters essays focused on Whedon

There are a lot of Pop Matters essays focused on Whedon linked on Whedonesque (the one about The Lost character that was Xander Harris got funnily skipped)

You’re Strong. I’m Stronger: Vampires, Masculinity & Language in 'Buffy' has some mentions about Spike and the header is "cropped" from Sueworld's art, I think

spike, whedon

I disagree an awful lot with that writer's view of 'macho' Spike. Also, you're right. That is Sueworld's artwork.

Sue's artwork: I knew it! Must have been one those specially made for your fics!

As for those essays, I've noticed that the editor (or person in charge) of that collection posts on Whedonesque and I'm hoping that Pop Matters will consider a strong reaction before deciding to print them.

It wasn't, but I do have an icon someone made from it (with Sue's permission) that I've used a lot on my other LJ. You may be thinking of that. I wonder if Sue knows about it? Probably not.

ETA: Ah, interesting. They seem to have taken Sue's art down. Maybe someone complained?
