I know everybody's migrating to Tumblr, but I don't see how you're supposed to have regular conversations there!

There are really interesting things going on in Tumblr, but I don't know how to contribute because I don't know how to, you know, have regular conversations there. Reblogging seems like a hassle to sort through, and

A lot of people do use Tumblr as a personal journal, however. I wish I knew why.

I usually send messages to people through their ask box like you would message someone through here. :)

Like someone's url (ex: urlhere.tumblr.com/ask) you have a little box come up ad you just write something there. It isn't really an easy way to communicate with people on there, but tumblr is more about posting pretty pictures, funny videos, and just stuff like that.

I don't understand Tumblr for friends/communication/blogging purposes at all, either. It's why I only use my account to browse pretty things, and then they all end up posted in my LJ. xD
