hi doll! i want you to know, your entries still don't show up on my f-list, so i was stalking your actual journal yesterday. ^^
i very much enjoyed both. i would recommend you buy it, read it, THEN watch it. doing the reverse just wouldn't be as good. each one has its positive and negative points, for sure. the anime tells the story in a way that is chronologically a little different- but for the anime, it made it very strong.
fyi.... the baker Ono is voiced by the guy who did Tsuzuki of Yami no Matsuei, and the apprentice is voiced by the guy who was Death the Kid in Soul Eater. they really had good voice actors which was pleasing. they also did an interesting sort of animation for the thing. i love the opening and endings too.
green market? what is that? maybe we call it something different here? i've been to a few veggie stands... and the quality is way bad. the one withing walking distance looks like plague had visited. bleh.

FICCAGE... I have actually been thinking about it a lot, and want to go back and edit a few things... but that will be after I write the next friggin' chapter. I hear you have been writing away... I haven't had a lot of time for readage though. T_T I think that I will probably get to writing after I get home from my visit. I need to re-read what I have written again so that I don't make any discrepancies or major stupid things. O_O

oh, that's good to hear- it's so sad when fics are abandoned! (ergh. i uh.... did that once. mostly because the fandom is really pretty old, and i would be slaving for all of like 5 readers haha (plus, i had current stuff to work on!))

discrepancies are really hard to avoid when a fic gets reeeeeally long too. i do the same - re-reading and all. it so helps ;D
