Looks wonderful! Yes, I've heard that the French are the least tolerant of those who speak their language imperfectly. One place to practice is with merchants / sales clerks. In theory they should be trained to be polite to potential customers!

So funny. And so all over the board. I think I was travel tired and overly sensitive. Lyon overall was very sweet and most folks were beyond good natured. We did walk out of one place where they just couldn’t be bothered right up front. 😂. Know your limits I guess!
