That's really interesting. When I was a kid in Enrichment, we spent a huge amount of time on brainstorming and planning and 'future scenarios' in which we were taught to, given present knowledge, project ourselves into the future, observe it, describe it in detail, make a report on it, and try to come up with contingencies to put in place now to avoid problems then.
