Saturday:

Day at the Beach

Audrey and I went to Far Rockaway Park on Saturday after waking up late and taking a long and leisurely brunch (blueberry and sesame chicken salad with avocado). She spurned me on to dive into the waves - we actually frolicked, jumping about and body surfing until we were cold..

I know you and Caz love house, but I'm generally not into it. I went to a lot of raves back in the day, but for me it was about the Ecstasy 'vibe,' Ecstasy itself, and the women, not the music. I like some Chicago deep house and some of the English bastard forms a little, but not enough to explore and understand house in general.

I almost went to Rockaway on Saturday as well. Such an underrated beach--I don't know why people bother going to Long Island when you can go there and practically have a strip all to yourself. I think we're going on Saturday...just enough time for my sunburn to mellow into a nice tan.

It's the best non-car-essential beach. And if you really want to get away from everyone, you just go to the other end of the island to Rockaway Beach and watch the surfers while laying on uncomfortable sand.

Sunday sounds like a good plan, but is too far away for me to actually plan anything.
