As for the replacement cup, you could always get one of these : http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/accessories/a3a4/ I've thought about getting one for work myself, but I tend to go the bottle route instead.
I just had my own brush with the law last night and got off with a warning. I have never received a warning in my life.. I usually get the ticket and move on.. But, last night was a different story. check out my blog for the rest.
About 10 years ago I was in the middle lane on a surface street traveling about 60 in a 45: I had two cars to my left, two to my right, one car in front, & one behind... & somehow I was the one who got pulled over. :(
