Pretty much. But if you can find something you genuinely enjoy doing and find a good group of people to work with, then it's not so bad at all really...

Game tester is actually a really tedious job x__x you do nothing but play the same piece of a level 800 bajillion times and chances are it will be for a crappy game you don't even like. And even then, to save money, testers get fired quite frequently @_@;

Anyways, I'm glad you have some time off and I'm glad you're feeling motivaated!! I suggest Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled and Lux Pain, both pretty good games. :3 At least I really enjoy them. Black sigil is an RPG and Lux Pain strikes me more like...Persona without summoning persona. I can't explain it. XP

It's not exactly a life sim, but you can make friends. You go tot school, you walk around town, you're solving crimes. I find it quite enjoyable. XD
