Oh wow. It's been quite some time since I blogged, hasn't it? It's not that I've been busy. Just didn't really feel like what I was doing was particularly interesting. So what have I been up to the past month? Same as always. Gaming and anime

I'm only on episode 2. It seems kind of "meh" so far, but I'm hoping it'll pick up as things get explained better.

There's not enough bright games these days ;_; Especially on current gen consoles...

I need to watch some anime, haven't watched any in ages

Evangelion: I watched it some time ago, I remember the huge hype but the ending was blah. Did you watch the extra episode? It's like a better explanation of the end, but it's still blah.

Paranoia Agent: watched the first episode, bored the entire time, stopped watching. I couldn't find the dub and I only watch subs when it's amazing since having to read/pay full attention really makes it a lot less fun so it has to be beyond awesome to make up for it. I'm not as picky with dubs.

The others... haven't watched them. I really need to find a fun series to watch. Last time I had lots of fun with anime was with Get Backers and before that with Toradora.

Extra episode? You mean the movie? I still haven't watched that. I was hoping for some epic final show down for the ending. Not 2 episodes of schizophrenia and shinji getting mindfucked.

Subs are second nature to me, so I'm not even aware that I'm reading them anymore. As for Paranoia Agent, the entire series could have been like...3 or 4 episodes long. A lot of it was just needless "filler" and some of it was pretty boring. You didn't miss too much by skipping it.

Of the others I listed, the only ones I'd reccomend would be Eden of the East and POSSIBLY Gundam 00 (but you might get bored with Gundam...). Oh and Heroman, even though they only have 3 episodes out right now.

Gundam 00 should have an english dub available. I saw the first episode of the dubbed version and the quality/voice acting is really good. Brad Swaille is awesome like that.

Eden of the East and Heroman are both subbed only however. BUT...Eden of the East has an english opening
