This seems like it's the start of something cracky and fun and right up my alley.
also an opening sentence of Fai calling Kurogane 'Kuro-horny' doesn't hurt either

"Kuro-horny" was a large part of their casting

Kuro and Fai need to be contentious because...because...because...I needed to increase my word count and the banter ended up being too much fun to delete XD And also, bickering is my favorite dynamic for them...*shifty eyes* Besides which, the fact that Kurogane hasn't outright slaughtered Fay after six years speaks volumes XD

Certian dialogues made me laugh out loud, seriously. This is genius. xD
...and you made me want to rewatch the 1999 movie adaptation. =w=b
Hope you'll update soon! *3*b

Is that the adaptation with Michelle Pfeiffer? That is one of my favorites!

But I decided to hell with it because I love you and I love this fic. =D MOAR.

And actually, thanks to you, I have the next chapter damn near ready to go XD YAY!!!
Also - my friend's boyfriend was very impressed with my Vindictus knowledge...LOL. He plays as Fiona, though, and hasn't succumbed to the Evie love....

LOL! Fiona's awesome too, she's just not my playstyle. I don't normally go for tanks in games, and Fiona's just too slow for me.
On the other hand, at least Fiona isn't made out to look like a five year old at every opportunity. ;o;

Ahahah... XDD' And with the way Fai behaves, he's right.
“'Okay, so we kill the brother. The kids get married and everyone lives happily ever after. …Except for the dead brother. Done deal.'”
Oh my... why does this come from Fai? XD'
Ahahah, I totally love this. Fai is incredibly annoying and loveable and Kurogane is his perfect grumpy partner. But really, I like the setting and I'm looking forward to the fun this is promising to be... I wonder why Kurogane actually goes along with that wonky plan Fai constructed. (But I love him for it.) And the part about Yuki and Touya was just... *takes deep breath* sooooo sweet! I love those two! :D
I'll love to see what the next chapters will be like!

Yay! I'm happy you like it! I was afraid I went a bit overboard with Fay, but it was just so...fun!! Kurogane is completely burnt out and frustrated with his situation, so he mostly goes along with Fay for lack of better ideas - he was a guard before and not very skilled in dealing with people XD And Yuki and Touya... <3333 I was so proud of myself for actually being able to construct some drama for them...they're so cute together that it's difficult!
I will do my best to deliver quality chapters!!

Fai came out great, and for the sake of parody I totally don't think he's overboard... his character is still pretty clear, just a bit more extreme and obnoxious than normally. (So obnoxious that I probably woke my poor neighbor up with my laughter, when I was reading this last night... XD)
Yuki and Touya are totally hard to portray! I love them as a couple, but I'd never be able to write anything about them... they give off such vibes of harmony and love and peace, I'm afraid I'd be boring myself to death... Actually, I'm glad you brought in the jealousy and something that might actually (if Fai and Kurogane meddle too much) put their relationship to danger. Really, I was wondering that Touya actually had to think about Kendappa's offer ( ... )
