Could you explain how the communicators work? For instance, how characters might "lock" their posts and how to hack said locked posts, if possible?

Every mun can see locked posts. But if a post is locked from someone, it should be noted in the title. You can also lock sections of post from people, which should also be noted by bold text or a LiveJournal cut.

The same applies similarly to hackable posts. If a post is hackable or otherwise to any varying degree, a mun should make a clear note of this when they post an entry. Etiquette calls for asking permission in the comment OOCly to hack the post, but this also depends on a person's ability to hack into the network.

Shinju would most likely be unable to hack into posts without his vision, and anyone who has difficulty with technology or anyone who is unused to this level of technology would have difficulty in breaking through. Characters like Radical Edward, Lloyd, Sho and some of the others, however, would have no issue after a bit of fiddling around with the communicators. Average characters might be able to hack through with some practice, unless the encryption is noted in an entry as being very, very secure.

I wasn't asking specifically for any character, but thank you very much for the explanation!

I know you weren't, actually. I was saving time by using examples for your and other people's references. You're welcome!
