The Final Problem

I re-watched Sherlock 2.03 "The Reichenbach Fall" last night then my brain went into overdrive trying to figure out what we are all missing and this happened.

Be aware, there is spoilers in this plus a mention of The Mentalist.

I'm not quite sure I'm with you there on the dummy-dressed-as-Sherlock is what John saw, since Sherlock did actually jump and THAT SCENE WITH THEM ON THE PHONE AND REACHING OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER UGH MY HEART.

But, I do think that the rubber ball is tucked in the sleeve of that arm (or both), so that what's there of his pulse is not able to be detected in a standard fashion, and that he certainly worked something out with Molly so that it made it seem as though he were dead. He must have taken notes from Irene, as whatever he did fooled even those closest to him.

Also, I have a feeling that truck that was in front of what we are all presuming is his dead body plays a part in all of this deception. After all, it did disappear after that biker knocked John over.

BUT LIKE YOU I AM UNSURE. We will figure it out eventually though, probably not long before the next season.

My dummy theory does sound a bit dodgy, doesn't it?

Never actually notice the truck but I do believe that the biker was a delay tactic and was probably one of Sherlock's homeless helpers.

If Wikipedia is to be believed, we could have the next season before the end of the year because aparently they did S3 at the same time as S2.

You didn't notice the truck? That was one of the first things I saw that was missing by the time John got to his body, mostly because I was refusing the believe that they ACTUALLY WENT THERE. Re: the biker as a delay tactic, it's quite possible but I'm torn about it since it could have just been an accident that may have prevented John from gathering potential clues about Sherlock surviving the fall. ~IT'S ALL SECRET MESSAGES~

Looks like i'll have to watch it again.

I'm about to have a proper go at the book!canon so I think I'll be dead of that long before it comes back.
